Meet your driver-guide at 3:00 pm in central Foum Zguid and enjoy a welcome tea. Set off by 4×4 along the track leading to the tajine-shaped mountains, with stops at the Elagermia oasis and a prehistoric fossil site. Visit a nomad tent and share tea before crossing the dry lakebed of Iriki.
Arrive at the Erg Chegaga dunes via the lakeside track and settle into the Bivouac Les Nomades. Climb the dunes for sunset, then enjoy a traditional dinner and a musical evening around the campfire. Overnight in the desert camp.
Breakfast at the camp in the heart of the dunes, then depart by 4×4 for the village of Sidi Abd Enbi. Explore the old ksar, the oasis and the marabout before returning to Foum Zguid late morning.
