Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg El M’Hazil – Wild Camp

Set off from Foum Zguid in the early afternoon by 4×4 towards the dunes of Erg El M’Hazil. Meet the camel handlers and begin your nomadic experience. Set up camp in the open desert with traditional tents and Berber rugs. Enjoy dinner under the stars, stories shared around the fire, and Saharan music. Spend the night under the open sky or in a tent — your choice.

Day 2: Erg El M’Hazil – Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi

Wake to sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at camp. Ride your camel across the sands to a family-run guesthouse near the dry Iriki Lake. The afternoon is free to enjoy the tranquillity of the desert. Take a guided visit of the village of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi, including its oasis, the mausoleum of the marabout Sidi Abdenabi, and local historic remains. In the evening, watch the sun set over the Saharan plains before a convivial dinner around the fire with the nomadic team.

Day 3: Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi – Foum Zguid

After breakfast, return to Foum Zguid by 4×4 along desert tracks, stopping to discover a fossil site on the way. Arrival in Foum Zguid late morning.
