From Foum Zguid to the dunes of Chegaga for 2 nights bivouac and one on Lake Iriki: 4 days - 3 nights.

day 1:

Foum Zguid trail and night on the dried-up lake.

Departing from Foum Zguid in the early afternoon in a 4x4, we will enjoy a relaxing photo break at the Laagermia oasis near the source and its palm trees and appreciate the view of the dried-up lake at the foot of Djebel El Madouar. We will cross the lake to reach the inn where you can enjoy a welcome tea, making a stop at the fossil mountain beforehand. Installation and relaxation to enjoy this magnificent environment. The evening comes and after admiring the sunset, it will be time to enjoy the fire before enjoying a delicious dinner while listening to melodies and rhythms of the desert while admiring the sumptuous starry sky.
 

day 2:

Tea with the nomads, picnic at the Grizim oasis and the Chegaga dunes

Get a good dose of energy when you wake up; it will be while admiring the rising of the star of fire. Then you will have a hearty breakfast. Your morning will begin once the track towards the east is taken with a visit to the nomadic school and a very friendly tea break with a nomadic family. The picnic will be served to you comfortably installed under the date palms of the Grizim oasis. After a moment of nap we will continue the track between djebel Bani, the dunes and steppes dotted with tamarisks and acacias whose dromedaries feast on their thorns. The dune site of Chegaga will offer you an extraordinary spectacle since you will discover the highest dune in Morocco (300m). We will take advantage of the setting of the star of fire on this immensity of sand to walk there at the pace of the dromedaries. It will be time to settle down and relax at the bivouac before being served a delicious traditional dinner near the campfire. The evening under the superb starry vault which will delight you will be friendly and animated by nomads with the melodies and rhythms of the desert.You will fall asleep with stars in your eyes and joy in the heart of this unforgettable day.

day 3:

hike on the vastness of the Chegaga dunes

It will be a day dedicated to hiking to the rhythm of the desert ships or on foot in desert adventure immersion then the picnic will be installed in the shade of the tamarisks. After a digestive nap time we will join the bivouac and you will have complete freedom of your time to relax and appreciate the superb environment where you will spend a second night. You will admire the sunset before spending a friendly evening with our hosts who will delight you with their Sahrawi melodies and rhythms around the fire while sipping a good tea. The typical Moroccan dinner taken, you will be able to delight in the beauty of the starry sky as far as the eye can see before falling asleep peacefully.

day 4:

from the dunes of Chegaga to Foum Zguid and visit of the douar Zaouia Sidi abdenabi

Take a good dose of energy when you wake up: it will be by admiring the rising of the star of fire. Then you will enjoy a hearty breakfast. We will take the track for 3 hours towards the west towards Foum Zguid, making a stop for a visit and photos at the douar Zaouia Sidi Abdenabi to visit the old kasbah, the tomb of the marabout and the gardens of the oasis. It will then be through varied and grandiose landscapes that you will discover all along the track along the djebel Bani then the rocky steppes and wooded savannahs with changing tones that we will reach Foum Zguid.
