Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Foum Zguid – Lake Iriki – Erg Chegaga

Departure from Foum Zguid in a luxury 4x4, after safely parking your vehicle. Drive past the “tajine-shaped” mountains, the Elagermia oasis and a fossil site before crossing the dry Iriki lakebed.
Arrival at the Erg Chegaga dunes (300 m / 985 ft) and check-in at a luxury camp featuring tents with private showers and toilets.
Camel ride at sunset, refined dinner in the camp’s private restaurant and music by the fire. Overnight in a luxury tent.

Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Nomad Encounter – Erg Chegaga

Breakfast at the camp, then set off on a camel-trek to a nomad school and learn about daily life for families of the Sahara. Lunch in a traditional nomad tent.
Return to Erg Chegaga in the late afternoon. Second night in the luxury camp.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – Sidi Abd Enbi Oasis – Foum Zguid

After breakfast, return by 4x4 to Foum Zguid with a stop at the Sidi Abd Enbi oasis to visit the old ksar and the shrine.
Arrival in Foum Zguid late morning.
