Day 1: Foum Zguid - Lagweira - Dry Lake of Iriki

Departure by 4x4 in the afternoon from the center of Foum Zguid towards Lagweira.

Passing through Mount Medawar: stop for a photo break with breathtaking views of the oasis.
Visit the fossil area: a unique opportunity to take exceptional photos.
Arrival in Al-Gouira overlooking the dried-up lake of Iriki:

• Welcome tea offered by our team.
• Setting up the tents before sunset.
• Climb to the summit of Al-Gouira to contemplate a magical sunset.
• Enjoy a convivial dinner around the fire, enjoying the calm atmosphere before going to sleep to prepare for the new day.

Day 2: Al-Gouira - Chebbi Oasis - Rakia Mahalla

Wake up early to admire the sunrise over Al-Gouira hill.

• Breakfast outdoors.
• Preparation for the trek: dismantling the tents and loading the luggage onto the camels.

Walk of about four hours to the oasis of Chebbi.

• Lunch in the shade of the palm trees and a relaxing break until 4:00 p.m.
• Visit the rock engravings and pass through the historic Kasbah overlooking the oasis.
• One hour hike to Rakia Mahalla for the night.

Day 3: Rakia Mahalla - Awina Al-Shaab - Village of Zaouia Sidi Abdel Nabi

Wake up to enjoy the sunrise.

• Breakfast outdoors.
• Preparation and departure towards Awina Al-Shaab, a region where natural acidic water springs.

Three-hour walk to the village of Zaouia Sidi Abdel Nabi.

• Lunch in the shade of the acacias and a relaxing break until 4:00 p.m.
• Visit the historic Kasbah of the village, the local school and the oasis.
• Traditional dinner: Bedouin couscous with local vegetables.

Day 4: Erg al-Mahazel - Iriki Dry Lake

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise.

• Breakfast outdoors.
• Four-hour walk to the sands of Erg al-Mahazel via the dry lake

Setting up a large tent for lunch and a break in the shade.

• Outdoor tea followed by the installation of the tents.
• Climb a dune for a spectacular sunset.
• Dinner around the fire and stargazing accompanied by local music.

Day 5: Erg al-Mahazel - Return to Foum Zguid

Wake up to one last sunrise over the dunes.

• Breakfast and luggage preparation.
• Return by 4x4 to Foum Zguid with stops at attractive places and sites.
